I'm Helena Saab, a paediatric speech pathologist and mum of two. I started The Speechie Mumma to make early language learning simple, playful and fun for families.

My Knock Knock books are designed to build early speech and vocabulary. They turn everyday reading time into connection, play and new words, one knock at a time.

Every spread includes gentle prompts that show you when to pause, gesture and model a new word. They're the same strategies I use in clinic, made easy to use at home.
